French cloud company OUTSCALE has announced new innovations to support businesses in their digital transformation in the era of artificial intelligence and sovereignty. The company has launched Large Language Models as a Service (LLMaaS), a result of its partnership with Mistral AI and Dassault Systèmes which provides a turnkey solution for creating generative AI applications. It has also expanded its global presence with a third availability zone for its SecNumCloud region and will soon release OUTSCALE Kubernetes as a Service (OKS), a managed, sovereign, and secure Kubernetes platform for the deployment of cloud-native apps.

Dell Technologies Reports Strong Q2 Fiscal 2025 Results with $25bn Revenue and Growth in AI Demand

Dell Technologies has announced its fiscal 2025 second-quarter results, with revenue of $25bn, a year-on-year increase of 9%. The company's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) saw revenue of $11.6bn, up 38% from the previous year, while its Client Solutions Group (CSG) brought in $12.4bn, a decrease of 4% from the previous year. The company cited increased demand in AI and traditional servers as a key driver of strong growth, while storage revenue decreased by 5%. Dell also noted that demand for AI-optimised servers was up 23% quarter on quarter, with $3.2bn in revenue, while year to date this figure was $5.8bn.

Dell Technologies and Red Hat Partner to Enhance AI Solutions with RHEL AI on Dell PowerEdge Servers

Red Hat Enterprise Linux AI (RHEL AI) will be available on Dell PowerEdge servers, establishing RHEL AI as a preferred platform on the Dell PowerEdge R760xa server, according to a statement by Dell Technologies and Red Hat. The collaboration is intended to help customers more readily implement AI and machine-learning strategies to scale their IT systems and power applications. It will also provide a more consistent AI experience on optimised, AI-enabled hardware solutions, all delivered on the trusted platform of RHEL AI on Dell PowerEdge.
